Fun, Funky Party Items
Bombs Away Shot Glasses are similar to a lot of Fred products. They’re weird, awkward, and absolutely hilarious. These little things are a lot bigger than you might expect, they’re larger than a lot of shot glasses out there. The bomb is made fairly well, and the frosted glass allows you to see it well. With dark liquids inside, the bomb takes form, and guests will be very entertained. Pricewise, it should be a collectors item or a gift. It’s slightly disappointing that it’s so expensive for two of these, but if you really want them, you probably won’t have that feeling of buyers remorse.
Pros: Fun, interesting, insulated glass keeps liquids cool.
Cons: Can’t feel the cold drink, glass feels too light creating a fear of breaking it.
Great concept…. poor excecution
If you are buying this, you probably want to drink “Irish Car Bombs” or “Jager Bombs.” I bought two sets of these shot glasses with the impression that they would be perfect for drinking Irish Car Bombs. That assumption was very, very wrong.
“Cheers! Congrats on graduating!” We clink glasses and drop the shot…. and wait… and push the shot down with our fingers… and wait…. okay, now it’s time to drink. WORST IRISH CAR BOMB EVER! The shot glass is supposed to sink to the bottom. Instead, it floated… and floated… and floated.
If you are looking for a super cool shot glass to do Irish Car Bombs with, you got half way there. They will hype up the group until game-time. The performance is pitiful and embarassing after that. Fred needs to make the glasses SINK before they charge ~$10 per glass.
